expedition

Expedition
6-19-18

Come sun Spirit and our singer on the Susquehanna
As to squander it on good books
At our Randomhouse on the coast of Lake Ontario
And your day is long in the night and one more wild weekend
With you in Michigan Territory
We all hurt sometimes in Slocum families
Take comfort in acquaintences for expeditions in search of Francis
On Long House Road of the Iroquois
Hang on loosely but don't let go
On our Allegnenies we prosper.....

Crossing Wilkes-Barre (At Mississinewa)
6-19-18

I love maps even when I have the craps
In the original homeland of the Delaware people
And Moroni on our steeple
As if I already belong flowing down the Hudson
Crossing Wilkes-Barre
Do we even care?
Flowing up the Potomac
A tedious maneuver
The love has never ended
And we never said goodbye
Call it not unfinished business
Upon the throne and unto the lamb
On your own ear
Life begins to fade back in Baltimore
As adventure begins with the page
As you let it dawn on you
Not before or after....

Eh, O Whe, O Weh
6-19-18

For speed on you
As to need that which is due
As the handsome melts at the drum
And another breadcrumb for cut finger known as Wehletawail
Take me on board and I'll provide
Not to draw my sword as on days like today time is quite generous
Of glittering blue
Grey Eh Well if on cue
Drum like the heartbeat
For angels that stand round about the throne
Looking the other way to vanish for our Palonswan smoke and mirror lockdown....

Medicine Ball
6-19-18

For calico blouse and shirt and woolen shawl
And knife sheathe on it into a thicket of our Dodge
And white blood in ones veins the other way we vanish
Thamp, thamp
Don't know enough Spanish
As to be acactus trying to be a canoe
Down on creation for the explanation
And no such special grants
To look the other way and vanish
All for Moshingomeshia
Rather to be hidden in the ones as it ought to be
A pleasurable experience for when I return and know and learn
Off the path into the thicket....
