Heart right in the side of God
Find it not odd down to the city of Samaria
Arise, go thence and you better believe it
To kick against the goads on dreamlike rocks
All summer no socks
Making valor of the sidewalk thought provoking
And tantalizing the tale of truth for advance and retreat
As thought becomes poetry in Langston Hughes seeking Giovanni
In excrutiating beauty back in San Francisco
Receiving the law by dispensation from questions and doubts
And honest inquiring....





Study It More Out

For all apostles able to heal by dinosaur fossils
In the way I feel as to lead by faith and keep it real
As so it is doubt that comes to excercise our faith
Like a tree with shallow roots easily taken down in adversity
As to write down an inquiry and study it out
Finding somewhere where it fits and never calling it quits
As to study it more out as poetry illuminates the thought
As to be read and awaited in how long it's been stated
Since the earth is created....

Conference not congress medically inspired all for explosive drama
All for Malcom telegraph our mystery scene
Our associated press
Our Boston Globe accelerating like an avalanche
Prose as rich and evocative
As so I pray for a purpose here
In that I am here today for a reason
On our return to the deep dark blue.....

Confession is not for fear
But to help us to be more humble before we stumble
O, pound the pulpit
Let me see you once in the light
Where repentance like pain taking fortitude
You don't want to see nor even hear of it
And she still tells me that I'm writing in books
Under special officers our Pulitzer Prize recommended
To let the words flow from my own mind
Seeking agents to but penetrate
How indeed I'm sitting on gold
By gut twisting belief and great fun.....
