Join In!
7-3-18

By atonement we can repent
Not the other way around in good sound
Heaven bound as well for sinners and saints
Winners and their paints and another kingdom striving to be perfect
As He is where being clean is a glorious feeling and it won't always be summer
As to restore that which was lost in our select group
Fill the bowl back up with soup
If East Market could tell jokes
At least I have smokes as I stand at the window
Of this grand house taking my train to ramble south of France
As night falls
Join on in!

Caught Quickly
7-3-18

Crossing death-laden plains
On a thousand accounts of coining phrases
Through the same changing countryside for starlight-backed wooden third-class seats
They're really good for writing poems whether or not they might rhyme
All in vintage Ludlum in fine foam for secret supporters
Among high-ranking officials for our mobile register all for Frevagne
Pausing to catch a riff all for Kearns
Our surgeon thanks for the Listerine and tolerance of martyred reason
Self evident......

Appendectomy
7-3-18

She saves my life with a smile and a hello
As in la-la land today I trust all for our appendectomy
And a bullet taken in the thigh catching the riff as steep as my cliff
For this Sharpnel it seems I fought the bookcases just to fill them in
Dreaming of Foca Prison in '83 perhaps in another lifetime parallel
Grab it if it comes your way with a nice view of our north
Up to Mount Wolf reaching Pandonian Plain near the apex....

Starry-Eyed
7-3-18

Growing starry-eyed
Giving oneself back one freedom by our belief in a supreme being
So much more to be seeing in an otherwise chaotic universe essential
To praying for patience unawares by murder and mayhem
Gone the single monologue where I can tell the time on my right wrist
Discovering another layer of our atmosphere as the son reigneth
Bands of death will be broken
Behold this is my work to bring to pass immortality
In you and in me....

My Smile Wry
7-3-18

All for Campbell and his honor
As one to say that soon I'll be a goner
Yet exaggerating giving way to mansions as converted to luxury apartments
In blood and bones at oblique angles for stars and their spangles
And revolution given at Fayette as to find a dry place to have another cigarette
As true in its way it is a human nature to fret richly rewarding
All I wanted of today was to enjoy it for community nearby
No sense in worrying about what happens every week as socialist commerce
Has its place in a world uncertain.....
