emery

Emery
7-12-16

Hallelujah
I made it home in one piece
For orations regarded as landmarks
Still I feel like a stranger
O, friend in development of American free thought
The eagles fly high for literary expression
For navies handling them in sturdy throes
Silky come the enemy
Our fine grained impure conundrum
I am humbled with the thought of losing the battle
But winning the war
For the bastion notwithstanding
In spite of our maugre
We've been too long at sea
I love the Lord
Not only because he heard the voice of my supplication
In gem varieties our emery....

O, Joyance
7-12-16

For Percy Shelley
May we rewrite to a skylark
White still in the dark
And Prometheus unbound
A price for being free
And bloodshed I will recompense
Then according to their deeds
So he says where I practice joy
With a half a tear in my left eye
I squeeze as if on my knees
For many nations and great kings serve themselves
You must be the angel I meet up with today
For Percy Bysshe
I yet eulogize this beauty
And turn the page on an exclamation
Mark for Joyance
Imperial, regal and elaborate
Tugging halfway its backward eye
And back soon falling down
I cast aside my crown...
