levant

Levant Revisited Again
7-12-16

Coming to see the captain
To lay my proposition down
Coffee is served
Hallelujah, we shave for beggars' day
In the poetry of ones dreams
What hath the Lord answered
Rolling with the punches of perdition and salvation
Share my laughter as if it were a battle axe
Still willing to pay that sin tax
A letter for me from Milly
Call me a child and slap me silly
What hath the Lord spoken
For Mediterranean
The Levant bible thumpers say the end is near
But we as citizens of the kingdom have not such a fear on a cool sea
For oracle and burden still away from me
Only wisdom I ought crave
Through experience and faculties of all decadence....

Riposte
7-12-16

Speaking for me with a truthful tongue
Reaching your prime yet you're still young
What hath the Lord answered
O, what burden
O, what consolation
Say your piece and get out to the coffee house
Another stops in our pantheism
I am a man of all creeds for the cairn
For alabaster but not to the point of disaster
O, Nana
O, rare wild goose
To me it sounds like a good thing
Given kerosene for my nemesis that today I embrace
O, Raleigh I dig your heritage
For water in the valley and riposte....
