Loquat
1-30-17
Go on and believe it
Where something has to die to live again
What then, shall we err
Our limit like the veil
O, blithe cloud, you
Every now and then
We get down to it
When the time is right
Studying my grocery list
A wee bit obsessive
I speak after the manner of men
All things leading up to this on my mind
But I'm not left behind tonight
I'm in good hands
Doubtless we think it meet of us
Assuming and taking possession of being fortunate
With the weather
What fruit had ye in things unprofitable
I still dream of my nemesis every time I talk to her
He wants my head on a silver platter
For the wages of sin is death
But the gift of God eternal life through Jesus....
Pishogue
1-30-17
Starting on the Southside
Of the supermarket
So I won't forget my staples
Every now and then returning to the here and now
Lightly peeping through curtains drawn
But not taking too long
Somewhere I smell good cooking
By the keys of the melody of nought and of aught
A time for everything
O, elegy to me
Where erudition is my idea of fun
Glad to have my life back after that terrible dream
In remembering your love and mind
I can go all day just craving them
Going out for Jesus
Greeting Sossity by the narrow way.....
Proud Anew
1-30-17
O, blithe cloud, you
Are you still proud anew
To play to kill the clock and this is it
And I don't quit
Where beauty is as nature's fact
Know ye not how the law hath dominion
Over a man as long as he lives
For loquat and almond scent and money well spent
We walk, we run
Taking time to hurry up
Limit like the veil unto my lady's face
Like our inviting arms never knowing who or what
Awaits us around the next corner
Our peace of mind as witness
For her land yet to claim
Tis a single hair
Our filament
Our law of love with chivalry
And with balance
I play it safe today
Until it's time to go
For every mesh, a citadel....
