proportionate

Proportionate
1-14-17

One drove number of oxen
And chisel do but fizzle
As something dependent upon external conditions
Not the best way to live
As for us and a large crowd in motion
Cheer up, my brother
Two to four inches broad over the ford Jabbok
Facedown at the altar and early rising sinners
Do their best work before the sun's light
To appease them with gifts
For herd and flock
And the Word as a house built on a rock
For its specific nature
Natural for us to think this way
Eight days a week and determinate
Time to lather up and get on with it....

Comparative
1-14-17

Really in trouble when you don't remember John 3:16
Comparative of these to but pertain correspondent and proportionate
We're all guilty of it these days
The way I see it
We had lunch and the food was cold
Told by my inner self not to go there again
Having the same key significance
Our relative minor circumstance
Some still dependent on things seen
O, deafening chaos of thunder rare in wintertime
The church bells ring
For another welfare check to sign
Comparative but still quite real...

On Genesis 32:22
1-14-17

I give you what you need
Even when it's something you don't want
Says he on high to pertain to what is coming our way
Jacob took eleven sons to the ford Jabbok
And I were that my house is founded upon a rock
At sunrise he hasted to my surprise
Yet to be exalted upon the hollow of ones thigh socket
To this day but why!
Here on the Shore Irish and Italian
Can make reconciliation and forgive them all their debts
Rice and flowers coming and going
Mega sweet hours
Sinew and tendon and soon ice showers.....
