Plans
6-26-11
I'll be my own Unitarian and Antiquarian
As a jack of all races, professions and trades
Going back to school and getting good grades
In classes I take in my own home
As I step into the shining car of her beautiful chrome
Washing her clean in my bathtub
Yet to visit the Essex Historical Society
Somehow to check out books
That keep me busy for another hard and good year
Where I take my joy in this learning to cover all fear
As I hold the kinswoman dear and near
Ready to make love with the universe in my own soul....
My Nine More
6-26-11
Nine hours ago
In my joys of my new games and toys
With no need to go out carousing with the boys
Wanting forever devotions
And to step outside of time
In these erotic and spiritual emotions
Where love is where the mind and body meet
Given nine hours to prophesy upon my poet's seat
Yet I'd be better off not placing a number or a quota upon this package
Not promised in my today
As I take up a new book of my fifteen dollar investment
In the treasures of all knowledge
In my today that serves as all I've got....
Seeking The Real Me
6-26-11
They said that one day I'd meet her
And that she would blow my mind
And that I would learn of her Brythonic dances
And become as one of my own kind
Yet to consult the works of Geoffrey Chaucer and Robert Burns
To become as a poet once again
Made new in all he learns
Told to keep it rolling like a river to the sea
Told to learn of her dances
That lead myself to the real me....
