Exoskeleton
4-8-17
Eyes lifted to the top of our exoskeleton
Free in all I have tasted
Nothing is wasted
With a goal set in mind to be pleasing to God
In our walk and not just talk
Good pics at Dad's seventieth
Catch me if I fall as the save some
And now my beloved concerning the covenants
Shake thyself from the death back into Texarkana
For another listen
He translates the message
Of the ball where fruits appear to be innocent
Living in honor for the Spirit's filling
Dare to enter!
Nameless Here
4-8-17
God fill this mortal frame with your Spirit
As to be strengthened in all right
According to His glorious power
Unto all patience and longsuffering
As King Sovereign Cornel runs deeper
See first then drink
Smell first then taste
To throw the pebble in the brook
Seasons can be difficult
Cans of Pepsi and seven-up
Are tokens of Mother's love
Back in D.C.
Blessed are all artists
Giving thanks for appendages and digits
Come and see, back to D.C.
Sir, said I....
To Be Like The Rain
4-8-17
Lesson of why these things come
In the beating of another bass drum
The sky doth kill you as you start your day
I sit against a tree in an old photograph
Like by power of the Spirit
To know to be like the rain
And give thanks to the Father
Even for pain
Come and see for the sum of me
As we take Jesus' place
In shining in the fruit of our labor
To still the beating of my racing heart
Into darkness peering
And musick to my hearing
Spoken as the whispered Word
Merely this much as to touch...
