graphite

Graphite (Our Ceramic)
4-8-17

Egyptians made the first bow
In case you wanted to know
Stepping into the light today for bright eyes
Tell me truth and lies
Made to possess months of vanity
Just to maintain composure and sanity
Sitting by the pool and Uncle's boat tied to the dock
I lean upon that main rock
A foundation sturdy
Where the music sounds like dolphins
And God has paid for all of our sins
O remember that life is but a breeze
Come bur and our scimitar yet unknown
O dirk to accost
I surely will!

On Job 7:11
4-8-17

Days swifter than a weaver's shuttle
Mine eye shall everyone know the good in it
As a cloud is vanished away
As tears in your eyes do bring joy
O, to have a name like Grace sums it up
When you're down and out and evening falls so hard
They will work with you
And God will work through you
Thine eyes are upon me
And I am not of wooden composite
Your time has come to shine
Therefore I will not refrain my mouth
As I stay busy standing up too fast
Getting dizzy as my bridge....

Sevens And Elevens
4-8-17

In my other life
They give me fortune and fame
In the form of favor
It's alright to decline today
Because God knows what you can bear
Choosing the strangling rather than life
We tend to make it hard come eleven
Needs not mean ominous
And seven is not always as auspice
In Plautus and Terrance
And aldermen elected
If you want me to  I will
O, sugared sonnets
It's okay to decline today
Looking for Marlowe concerning Palm Sunday
At last I find you and your song will fill the air....
