Edifying Spectacle
4-23-17
Woe to those wise in their own eyes
Cut down to size
And such time flies
For blossoms blooming
Exalted in judgment
As to discover the wonders of nature in its nurture
To hiss upon them from the ends of the earth
To blow a kiss upon them by reason of rebirth
With cords of vanity
As I remember a number
I can use for my sanity
In a house of blue light
Soon to exit night
Before the feet of the immaculate
Wrapped in twelvo and to be taught
Tell me Mary how to woo thee
Eleven come seven
Closer to heaven....
Poor Geddy's Ears
4-23-17
Like the roaring of the sea
Then one flew of the seraphim
With a live coal in his hand
Oftentimes reaching out
She tells me to do what makes me happy
Taking pinches of snuff
Where there is a rose
For tracks of sunlight
Through my east window
And you choose to lead you must follow
Thinking of the world of her gentle ways
For Freddy and Pasty
Steady and tasty
For old familiar words
And singing birds
All flown save what you know
Born of a virgin
Take it slow...
On Second Nephi 17:25
4-23-17
As to know to refuse evil
And acknowledge all good
She will be running a little bit late
But it's nothing to hate
Nor as hands of fate
As one to recreate
As saith Ahaz for the folk influenced
By that jazz
For artistic standard designs
Let your traces be found
When you go with me another round
For our pleasing answer
As the remove briers and thorns
Where all the print is flood of forts
And wants still too bright
To face the window and print my manuscript
Even for a thousand silverlings
For treading of lesser cattle...
Not A Pin Cared Ciss
4-23-17
Our typical daydream
Of type and illustration
And ways of means with arrows and with bows
Our Jesus knows
The sending forth of oxen
And another quick fix
If there is such a thing
For Remaliah's son
As to come and take ones children
Home like the morning sun
You came by the sign
Behold the virgin doth but conceive
It shall also consume
The bread, butter and honey
And another day for the Grateful Dead
Avoiding clutches of the demon drink
That really makes me think....
