Piper
4-22-17
Come harbor the soul of our plot
I praise Him with all I've got
By love and not by duty
And not by spoil or booty
In our hometown an egg carried by the most blessed art
Don't say you can't
Loving other deliverers
Even loving enemies
Where pages slant to eschew
In that I would rather fly
As the hawk to coexist with the dove
Take this first composition with a pinch of salt
Bringing glory to God even in what John Piper has to say
For worship more than praising
Giving ourselves to be used for His purposes....
Tabernacle Of Meeting
4-22-17
Everything you do
An act of worship
My next draught of joe
In case you didn't know
In loving others and gaining sisters and brothers
Gone from death to life
Accepting each other as Christ accepts you
Worship is a lifestyle
Not just for skies of blue
Worship more than just singing and praying
Let's skip the news boy
Of Arabs and the Jews boy
No use in confiding with ourselves
And longer now that the trials of our faith
Is made stronger just in time to be our guest....
You're Telling Me?
4-22-17
Love for each other
So proves that we have come from death to life
Where Old Mother Goose starts
But not for strife
Not just another lump of quartz
Loving Him, the lifestyle
And giving of ourselves
One blind love after another
As to gain a sister and a brother
In spite of the rain take it not in vain
For our years have not been wasted
No, not even in wine to be tasted
If opposites are colliding by the roller coasters
We'd still be riding for God's love abiding
Not just believing but belonging
It's crazy what I'm missing out on.....
