We live in a fast food society
But we're not in it for the burgers and fries
Nor the cholesterol of truth and lies
By job is studying the bible and writing my rhymes
For philosophy and mindset
And a feeling I would rather forget
Exchange this life, friend
For the world to come
Shuck the corn
Trim the message
We lose sight of the wave
The world has her own way
God knows what we can take
So I pray for patience
It will surely serve us well
Just testing my answers in the Word
Of what we are allowed to do about it....





Husbandry

Walk by the same rule and mind the same thing
I am very much old school
And of antiquity I will sing
For our visitation of hospital and jail
I will even betroth thee
Unto me forever in judgment and loving kindness
In sharp sightedness and in business
Not just a poet and scholar
But a citizen of the kingdom
Another little victory it will be
Do it if you can tonight and wait and see

Praise God for the silver trumpet

Bride of Christ
City of God heated and spiced
We find the cider not odd
Naked? Hungry?
Serve them!
Faith without works is useless
Like a body without breath
The harvest is plenteous
But the laborers are few
To mark those who cause division
And for the spark he knows all
Because of indecision
Another reconciliation
His work I will sow her unto me
In the earth where it eventually prevails
And God's love never fails
For the eyes of huge marbles
