Kurios
4-14-16
Tell me to have a good one
I don't like when they say take care
For a brass, glass and good one
Sometimes life is cruel to be fair
Tell me all I need to know
You're my sunny day
Turn your love my way
My shortest letter to you
Of where the wind blew
It's nothing new
Do men gather olives from cherry trees
Softly shaking as I wait for fresh sweetness
To buffalo the system and stay behind
To do just this
Pedagogic and studious
So is my bliss
O, Kurios will you be kind for keeps
Like sepulchral statues lay
His evident sanction.....
Let's Get On With It
4-14-16
So must filthy lovers' souls descend
Get on with your life
And leave those women behind
As the authority of the king manifested and rejected
Spending most of my time in my books
Call him that we may eat bread
Bringing a new confusion
Given Zipporah rearing a son, Gershon
I am a stranger in a strange land
O, fill troughs of water
Our father's flock
I thank God for words today
So that I might prophesy and pray
Lord if you are willing
You can make me clean
So it's back to basics
And the effect of the sermon on the hearers....
Easier Said Than Done
4-14-16
The angel appears to us in a burning bush
Get on with your life
Even if you still wander
For time today to kill and squander
Jesus will outshine them all
So I rehash all lukewarm cash
In all alchemy
Turning sorrow into joy
Leading the flock
To the backside of the desert
Grind smells O, futile sea
For all the use you are
Along a strand of brown hair
Into Horeb
I'm coming home to you
Still working on this at the break of day
Take the shoes from off your feet
For the place you stand is holy ground
Given emissaries
We cannot please them all....
