Simon-pure
5-5-16
Simon-pure and untainted
I hear the guitar school as the new chords turn purple
In Saint Leutlivre's play
A bold stroke for a wife
And another gimcrack
Gewgaw and bauble
I did what I did
Before love came to town
Learning for Goethe and his Faust
As one to ransom the lost for our pies
A large part of our requiem mass
No treasure not manifest in his sight
We have a Savior passed into the heavens
Simon-pure
I see love conquer the great divide
Something inside tells me to speak of it....
High Priest
5-5-16
So long and hello again
We have not a high priest
That cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities
O dies Irae just sing it
Our Latin hymn
Another fix is imperative
As Christ glorified not himself
To become this high priest
Believe it or not
He is the only good man
Who can have compassion upon the ignorant
And on them out of the Way
In over metal cellar doorways
Striving out towards the curved edge
No one good, no not one but Jesus....
Diamond Eyes
5-5-16
Lazy days, got ruby and rustic
Reading gladness and diamond eyes
Thou art my son today
I have begotten thee
In this particular notebook
I have the dilemma of pages falling out
Icy will I see you
Climb the fence to get in
Agoraphobic about the bourse
And I pour my second cup
Soon to get on with the accent mark
Important for correct pronunciation
And all I want is you
A treasure just to look upon it in my collection
Giving to Peninah to wife
Lean not to your own understanding
Remaining teachable....
