Settee
5-3-16
O, settee, my long wooden bench
For a hench and no such stench
As also you have acknowledged us
In part and good faith that goes a long way
That you are our rejoicing
Let your guard down
You just might like it
Today I go the distance
Willing to hike it
Always in prayer for those less fortunate
The testimony of our conscience
That in simplicity and godly sincerity there is safety
Who is the happy warrior
That every man in arms should wish to be
O, settee.....
Inviolate
5-3-16
On Sheida's ride and my Sheraton dark side
I used to stop in all the pubs
Twenty miles round trip
Down to the south drag and back thrice
For Ann Rutledge
Stay focused on her flavors
Inviolate, nor preferred
Intact by which I am enabled to interact
Come self edification
Nixon back in seventy-four
Nobody understood it
A shudder bore
Line them up and shoot them down
Icky, offensive
Our tiding and the scotch tape
Fixed it in a figurative Budapest
Inviolate.....
