Jesus is the mediator Between God and you and me
Reading again the book of Romans
To be yet set free
As a secondary assignment
And so much more to see
Run to obtain the prize
In the race by whom we receive apostleship and grace
Given the gospel of God
As its theme to yet inspire tonight another lucid dream
Written by Paul, the bondservant called to be an apostle
So another lucky child can go and find his dinosaur fossil
Jesus so serves as the mediator
To look at the map and try to go beyond that Servian wall.....






















On Romans 1:16

In the progress of its argument
I find my way that is just as well very much his
To emphasize certain aspects of this divine nature
By froth and fizz
O, I wonder who is writing these words
For God is my witness
Whom I serve with the Spirit
Even in spittle and such jizz
By these invisible things yet clearly seen
And another sunny day
Of hues of deeper azure and green
For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ
Deeply blessed in all it can mean
To all that believe
Yes, the Jew as well as the Greek
So that the bible scholar can yet seek.....




























Skimming Through

Invisible things are clearly seen
Being understood as things that are made
Zeroing in on a word such as established
As fresh foundation is to be yet laid
I ask O, what is the point in all of this
As from black to blue the ink doth yet slowly fade
As righteousness is revealed from faith to faith
And the scholar gets another good grade
Skimming through the book of Romans
Seeing that I won't jot down every verse
Where the challenge will be as the gift
In such a blessing found in the curse....
