tension

Tension
6-2-14

There is a tension between today heaven and earth
There is stigma concerning salvation and rebirth
Promised before through his prophets
In the holy Scriptures to behold another gold coin
And see what it could be worth
I will begin again
And see where it might take me
Born of the seed of David
According to the flesh
As at dawn she will yet wake me
To all whom are in Rome
Beloved of God and called to be saints....

Hindered
6-2-14

Hindered until now
Given the wherewithal and the know how
Back in the fields on my plow
Knowing not what to say
But O, how hindered
That I might have some fruit among you
Yet a debtor to the Greeks
O, I don't know where to go from here
According to the wisdom this poet seeks
Hindered until now
I taste the tears running down my cheeks
O, baby you'll always be baby to me
For it is written
The just shall live by faith
As so I am a debtor
Hindered until now....

Hard Races
6-2-14

To all whom are in Rome
Beloved of God
Called to be saints
Upon easils of styrophome
Another artist tosses all of his paints
O, how shall I fill in these empty spaces
Yet encouraged together by this mutual faith
As it is written the just shall live by faith
In the running of hard races
As so the whole world is guilty before our God
Yet to suppress the truth in unrighteousness
Building again the Servian wall
To keep out the stranger....

On Romans 1:20
6-2-14

Since the creation of the world
His visible attributes are clearly seen
Flowing down with the waters of the Tiber
To drink from its brink
And to taste these fruits high in fiber
Purchasing our tickets at the theatre of Pompey
As divided is the kingdom
By the balances we are yet to weigh
Yet to turn our way into our Adventure
To see what all of such cacophony can come to mean
And it was the best play I have ever seen
I'd like to go back there again
To be as inspiration
For another idle pen.....

Staged
6-2-14

In the stages of the Gentile world is unbelief
In the increments of all blind comic relief
By their rejoicing and chosen conscious grief
Because of what can be made known of God is manifest in them
As so again I swallow it in coughing up phlegm
It doesn't quit work that way
According to the garments and their hem
By the stages of the Gentile world, unbelief
They did not glorify him nor were thankful
Giving place to the thief
Becoming futile in their thoughts
Being as the cold and religious
But still I will persist...
