"Bear" With Me
3-16-14
Facing up to my giants
I am told to show not mercy in my fight
Allowing not the lies to yet bind me
Hoping that indeed today love will find me
Where everyone does falsely
O, bear with me and don't mind me
From the least to the greatest
I put it all behind me
O, get thee hence O, Satan
You won't win when I mention the name of Jesus
Healing the hurt of the daughter of our people
I have a cup of coffee with her today
To talk about past small victories
That ensure future greater ones
We are yet to taste in this sweetener of free choice....
I'm Going
3-16-14
Going to the places
Where the angels fear to tread
Where we are let in on
The honey upon our wheat bread
Hoping that not all things quite yet are not done and said
No, I am not ashamed of these words I write
Plowing through the book of Jeremiah
Straight into the bright darkness of my equinox night
With many grapes upon the vine
And a myriad of figs
Gathered by strangers
Whom are entitled to what we know of
This will be today's blessing
As I'm on fire for the Word....
Chide
3-16-14
As the people chode
It seems that our sin doth yet erode
Washing away those sandcastles
That the children worked hard on building
It doesn't take much to tear down these walls between us
By the climax of the chorus and the hook
We can be as one
When we all read the same book
Where Moses smote the rock twice
And water came out abundantly
In taking another look
As such are the waters of Meribah
Quite bitter
But O, so sweet
If indeed we can see it that way
Here, now and today....
Alpha
3-16-14
Gazing up into my alpha Centauri
Calling it all mine
Because God has created it tonight in my sky
Yet illuminated to be yet tenacious
In taking my stand to claim these promises
Gazing out into my Orion
To be one to say it belongs to me
According to this position
Of all loftiness imputed
Onto those that indeed are hoping
To be one to say that I have not beheld a brighter star.....
Omega
3-16-14
Edom did allow us to pass by
And to take our seats on high
No longer as one to need to ask why
Refusing to give one passage
To serve as the challenge at hand
Where God doth create the situation
To yet refine us
In that we rejoice and yet cry
Speaking to our Moses in our Mount Hor
Seeing today the benefit
To be one to pray for war
Given something to fight against
Serving as our crutch to lean upon when feeble
Stripping Aaron of his garments
To yet prove him worthy of his calling...
