prophesy

Prophesy
6-24-14

Truth telling prophets are commended
O, son of man
Go and prophesy
Go in peace the mass has ended
I grew up Catholic
But I did not know what it was all about
O, son of man
Go and prophesy
O, go and hear the word
Even in the shadow of doubt
As so you say that the Lord has said
I have not spoken
As the Lord hast not sent them
In the presentation of what is here and now
O, son of man go and prophesy
Like foxes in the deserts
That pine for the waters....

Malarky
5-24-14

It must be borne in mind
That although the prophet was in Babylon
He had a lot to say
In the playing of another grunge archive
By the interval between the first and final deportation
Where jackals yet traverse
These deserts in thriving thirst
As my sister below me remembers my birthday
In that I am blessed to be like such cursed
Because I have spoken nonsense and envisioned lies
I take again my lows with my highs
The picture kept will remind me
By silver arms and chest
And brazen thighs
By feet of iron and clay
Soon cut back down to size...

Just Because
5-24-14

Have you not seen a futile vision
Yet bound in the chains of this indecision
Bleeding from another deep and shallow paper cut
Of this brevity by its incision
O, have you not spoken false divination
O, my hand will be against the prophets
Whom envision futility
Just because the state in which
Was by the waning and waxing of another buzz
By the grapefruit rind and peach fuzz
Surely when the wall has fallen
We will see what can yet be
In setting ourselves free
In finding the real me
O, have you not seen a futile vision
Likewise set your face
Against these daughters of my people...

Keep It Up
5-24-14

If I try to sink
I will but float
Regarding not in my neighbor's eye
The beam, speck and mote
Because with lies
You have made the heart of the righteous sad
Because with iniquity you make yourselves go mad
All my needs will set me free
In that I've been had
To see that after all it's not so bad
To tear off our veil and deliver the people
Not as a passing fad
But of something of great sustenance
Behold I am against your magic charms
But by all means
Keep it up
In such is what doth keep you down...

Emancipate
5-24-14

As you profane me with handfuls of barley
And for pieces of bread
Greeting my brother that rides a Harley
According to the music that is still in my head
Killing people that should not die
By which the hungry are yet fed
He is a neighbor of mine
That I owe a debt of gratitude to
In all that is to be yet said
Yeah, it is time to emancipate
Setting ourselves free
In Christ that for us hath bled
Making our veils for our heads of every height
To hunt souls
That to the cross are to be led.....
