Thoroughly fortified once again
By the Word and name
Deeply encouraged in that today I'm not quite the same
Jumping back into the deep end
Of my pool no longer imputed
As the victor or the fool
Standing fast in all ordeals
According to this golden rule
Knowing to be in this fight to but win
With my just ephah
And my just hin
Thoroughly justified
In that I came, saw and conquered....










Checking the Mail

Amidst the lodging place for travelers
We yet linger
To sprinkle once again
Tap water from a willing finger
Anointing the veil in God's love
That will never fail
To yet hearken and hail
Amongst my living quarters
I scribble this rhyme
And once again I check the mail
Where every man takes heed to his neighbor
Where every brother doth supplant
And every neighbor doth walk with slanderers
For the cause of this dispensation
That transcends wheat
We can taste, touch hear and see....

























Sunday Night

It's Sunday night
And I'm doing more than just alright
Being one to contradict this predictable cliché
Being as He whom doth seek deeper
Into the narrow way
Where eternal life is the here and now
Taking up my rod to speak to the rock
And it will bring forth fresh cold clear drinking water
To assuage my thirst
Brought into the land He has given us
Because we believe indeed that we will...

Even the stork in the heavens
Knows her appointed times
Given this advantage
Of heinous handwriting
In that no one can forge my signature
Yeah, this remark made a brother chortle
To give me hopes in a future in being immortal
Where everyone turns to his own course
As one to fall into the void
And surrender to the portal
Taking it all as it comes
As the turtledove, the swift and the swallow
