Ambassadors
1-6-12
We are ambassadors for the dispensation of the grace
We are freely given
When to busy intersections of commerce
We are yet to be driven
Seeing the opportunity in every difficulty
Choosing to think of trouble as our companion
In that it makes us stronger
Refining us in our walk in a better direction
Where we will be worthy of this calling and election
To do our work in the field where many find their way to a higher ground....
Walk
1-6-12
Going for a walk
To see places I've never been to before
Accustomed to the least in this obedience
By way of the faith I am yet to attain
Where none of such experience tasted here will be in vain
And sometimes I seem to be overwhelmed by all that I've been blessed with
In all of my endeavors to seek out the knowledge
Put to use to edify and exhort
Where I haven't seen quite yet anything of this sort
So I go for a walk tomorrow in the sun
To get in touch with Jesus
So I can be again as One....
Seventh
1-7-12
Today was a test of my faith
To stretch my spiritual muscle
Of the love I hope to put into practice
On this January Seven
As the number of perfection
Where I am steered in another direction
Today was a stretching of a rubber band that did not break
Where I delve into the depths of a fresh water lake
To seek the salmon of my salvation
That on this night I celebrate....
Seeking Bread
1-7-12
As a wise man wins friends
Many will be drawn by the waters of wells that are pure
As we remain humble on our pedestal
When we are exalted the more
And I seek only bread not expecting the miracle
In knowing Jesus a little bit more now
That I have tasted that such waters are indeed sweet
Told to no longer labor for such meat....
Of Things Not Seen
1-7-12
We cannot see the wind blow today
We can only witness its results
As God will resist the proud
And the man of low degree he exalts
Where I seek a dream tonight
Where I'll do the right thing
In the subconscious eyes of a faith being tried
Where the lake is as deep as it is wide
And the sugar helps us today to swallow our pride
As the medicine goes down with a love that has been tried....
Small Things Count
1-7-12
Poker games on the sports channel
Serves as an illustration
For us not to put our trust
In such kinds of riches
To see that in this every time we lose
In a game that goes on and on
In our wrestling match with our covetousness
Where poetry and prayer will be as my ministry
In that it is miniscule in its operation
Like holding a door for a lady with an armful of groceries
It is something and it counts....
