Landlubber
8-11-15
Out for another smoke
By another hour's fleeting stroke
A great cloud and a fine enfolding
And all of the cards tight to my chest I am holding
The word cometh expressly to Ezekiel the priest
As we set up for another lavish feast
I want to hold your precious head
For our wheels of color of beryl
To know how it feels
By the appearance like burning coals
In being demoted to the earl
Make love and make peace
Another landlubber where the Spirit was to go
They went
I step out and repent
But still I carry on...
Cicatrice
8-11-15
Spirit of the living creatures in the wheels
As one to weigh and balance on the scales the way that it feels
For ones Louis D'or
Such a former gold coin
One that collectors do yet covet to own
Another message to the rebellious
I am not one to cast the stone
Got to turn your world around
Another one for the healing
In my cicatrice, my tissue forming around the scar
For the likeness of the firmament
Upon the heads of living creatures
In time all things heal....
Fulsome
8-11-15
For poniard and dagger
I saunter and stagger
For the sellout according to the silent DNA .
It was FYI and TMI
But still we manage to make it work for us
Another ninety dollar investment in the basic essentials
And ten pounds of produce
And the voice of the Almighty as the noise of the lost
It's raining cats and dogs
Praise God, we need it
Like the noise of great waters
Filling up canteens for all sons and daughters
For my shaved off emotions
Fulsome and excessive
Tawny but far from dull....
Moisture Entire
8-11-15
Like crimson turned into gold
Fulrous and tanny and treed
Weeded where the sparrows from cages are freed
Free to secede
The lighting is somewhat altered in the room
I see the color of amber as the appearance of fire
Good music coming through my wire
God bless the grass and trees with moisture entire
As the appearance of a bow
Soon it will be time to go
Stand upon thy feet and I will speak with you
So was the appearance of brightness round about
Giving God thanks from our shelter from the elements....
