inroad

Inroad
9-4-15

Jesus is the Word of God
Check out such words
Teach diligently to thy children
God is a river of life to never run dry
She moves in mysterious ways
Getting more whom wonder high
You better learn how to kneel
And not to ask why
I heard in the time expected
The threshing of wheat and rye
Giving no offense in anything
Giving it another alibi
For inroad and incursion
For raid and for foray
Ones serious encroachment
Giving no offense
So that the ministry be not blamed
I succored and Now is the appointed time
And Now is the day of salvation....

Nankeen
9-4-15

Of maraud and pillage
And the spoiling of a village
Ones initial venture outside ones customary range
I leave the nest and come back to my feline friend waiting for me
Trying to wrap my arms around the earth as we can know it
As the sunlight is like a nosebleed
Giving no offense  in any thing save what you choose
I succored thee so that you might win even while you lose
For Chinese cotton and my nankeen
I want to run to you clad in courage in all things
Approving ourselves as ministers
I'm going to run to you....

Only Seemingly Oxymoron
9-4-15

Sometimes I feel like checking out
But there is no such thing
Not even in our fear and doubt
For honor and dishonor
For evil and good report
Love, it won't be long
As unknown but well known
As chastened and not killed
The days as dark as the night is long
Up again at tan till six
This time not too soon
As waning is our moon
Sorrowful yet always rejoicing
Poor but making many rich
Feel like trash but you make me feel clean
Soon time for another Irish Spring bath
So we can get on with it
Having nothing but possessing all things
I'm in the black
Can't see or be seen
Seemingly oxymoron
But to the believing it is real.....

Straitened (Held Back)
9-4-15

In much patience, afflictions and necessities
In distresses, stripes and imprisonments
There is a silence that comes to a house where no one can sleep
In tumults, labors and watchings
No, don't you weep
O, Corinthians our mouth is open to you
And our heart opened wide
Baby, light my way for love and not for pride
For a recompense
I speak as to unto children
Your love was a light bulb
Be ye also enlarged
We learn to teach
Straitened in our own bowels
All is well with my soul
I reiterate such a phrase
For the cause to inspire you....
