2x2

Two By Two
2-22-18

Still quoting Kerouac
Appeasing my people here beside me stand two good men
Sent out two by two for me and you
I can dig that too
Making a new beginning to these sayings
where the Sabbath is a day to serve others
And all we do requires hard work
Keep up the good work with Jesus
As the example and standard in all we do and say today
Hoping that they are prompt
I'm dying to talk of plans ahead.....

Accepting The Invitation
2-22-18

As recovering the equity
As to serve our everlasting king
Saturday night hanging with Mother watching the Olympics
In the sweetness of our souls
O, undertake for me adrift our proclamation
To go there again as I go up to the temple and say my prayers
For my brothers accepting the invitation
Where the multitude waxes great in the land of colonial Carolina
We as babes visit all exhibits
Standing up at the gates of Sheol
But not backing down
As I go again to town
For Assyrian armies defeated....

On Isaiah 40:7
2-22-18

As grass withers and flowers fade
Snake slithers and we've got it made
O, comfort my people
We shall praise you by the greatness of roses by daylight
Console our members
Everyone a minister as voices wail, "Cry out!"
Rising up to paradise for you that bring good tidings
The sea parts before us
And tomorrow I need not miss the bus
Calling Mother with some good news for camera crews
We beat the blues
As the breath of the Lord blows upon us....

In The Halflight
2-22-18

Rioting in the gloom in the halflight of my room
Do you need more illumination from my sixty watt bulb?
I can make it happen for guests soon to come as we are
His hands of faith and fortitude
Getting my tablet in the proper mood
Saying yes to the temple
O, are we prepared
Or do we still have a long way to go
For the greatness of transcendence
Which we have spoken is good
And I'm going to check it out
For the twist of its face to the other
All flesh will see this glory
And our love for one another.....

Until We Meet Again
2-22-18

In the mission of John the Baptist
You would read about it in a magazine somewhere
As we subscribe surely the people are as grass as to feed our flock
Like a shepherd for the circle of the earth
More like a sphere as to mold an image
As the goldsmith overspreads it
And the skeptic no longer dreads it
As nations are as a drop in the bucket newer again
To close the blinds when I choose to love the morning light
Weighing the mountain in scales as we are strengthened by fire
As to bridle all of such passions....
