During the sacrament someone breaks down in tears
And steps forth to be reborn
Yea, that we need not suffer separation
Now there is a great rejoicing
Of we instead of I and me
From our church circle as far as one can see

Now I'm in third gear twisting and turning

Making no such end to the work today

Do we trust Him
Where hard is good as to dust Him like a shelf
Of mahogany wood including the assertion in this dispensation
I don't know the half of it
In all ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct our paths
So much good literature that I persevere in it for the rest of my days
With this power we can bless as the man of the hour to but confess
For handcart pioneers and two more records to keep
And play on without scratches
On ships no strangers
To hard things take it slow today

Hard Is Good

I took a tour of my new church
Without even knowing what it is called
Trust in the Lord with all thine heart
And lean not unto thine own understanding
Obedience not for young ones
O, do we really put our trust in that invisible God
By our faith or are we just talking
Better start walking
Behold Amaleki have no envy swells nor puffs
In the fleshly mind with regard to our temples

Lo strangers
To the hard things no such dangers
In business card things
To go where we should
But don't be acting halfway
When you know you're all in
When I snooze tonight I win
It is a small price to pay just to be there voluntarily

Easy To Believe It (Hard To Practice)

Distant brothers ask me am I going Mormon
And I say I will always be Christian
Come the flow of metaphors on the lake
Calling his prophets to guide us
But not to pride us
Deviating from a common letter
Gaining a testimony of the first vision
Of the personages and the light shining down
It's not so hard to believe it
And it is a sweet deal at that in that there is more
Making it through the first challenges
For answers in the fullness of the morning
