Diversity is the spice of life
Like nutmeg in forty-four national parks and reserves
Making these lists of goals in a state of disrepair
As a challenge to reconsider and reshuffle ones priorities
Playing fifty-two pickup where all I can do is observe
I pray for those involved in this ordeal
Then aught you labor for the good of others pursuing erudition
And maintaining friendships
Seeing you in my own shoes
Constrained to walk the extra one hundred twenty steps
And score a tall cup decaff this time.....
