Cultivated for edible triangular seeds
As to suit all wants and needs
As to remove the shucks and peel off the husks
In hominy huller and harrowed crushing and shifting
I spew it out faster than I can post it
Softly and humbly whistlinpg running on empty
For our taxis too contrite

For monkeys in hiding
For shells of oysters and clams
And battered rams
Circled by shallows in a world for the weary
