Blessed
12-3-13
Blessed are the sick for they shall be healed
I didn't see this in the Scripture
Yet was revealed it from the Spirit of truth
By which my soul is sealed
Blessed are the meek for they shall inherit the earth
I saw this written down and so much more is such a truth yet worth
Blessed are those that suffer in doing what is right
In that today I walk by faith and not sight
As delayed is my view of the world of white
Blessed are we that see not
But rejoice with joy unspeakable...
Bovine
12-3-13
By bovine benediction I yet partake
When a young one can in small bites know ones steak
Where I manage wherein I mask
Where I have not when I do not ask
Where God doth not forsake by bovine benevolence
I suffer the meat to be yet tasted on another day idle yet not barren
As time not seen as wasted by bovine benediction
I take no longer for granted the smoke that flavors such...
Accolade
12-3-13
By the brace joining several staves
Poets hide out in dark and peaceful grottos and caves solitary
Yet for a purpose in God's plan
On another uneventful day of listening to Van the man
In my dedication to a brother that moved on
Not out of sight nor mind nor counted as long gone
By the brace joining several staves
Given the accolade of Poet Laurelette
Feeling free to light up another cigarette
Looking back and leaving behind every rue and regret...
Kudos
12-3-13
Kudos and compliments are bestowed upon these champion poets
Dwelling in their humble tents
Waiting for the mansions promised to us in the hereafter
Where sorrow is much sweeter than our laughter
Given this higher hope
Harnessed by a stronger knot in the rope
For kudos and statements of honor and praise
Being as livestock that linger and graze...
On Nehemiah 4:6
12-3-13
Building our wall having a mind to work
Bowing low while standing tall
Where the angels doth linger and lurk
Finding it hard to put these truths into words
Seeing the sunshine make her way through
By the cheer of morning birds
Where this love will surely last forever
Where that which we are yet to claim
Is well worth our endeavor
Told yet to try not and to do...
Burden
12-3-13
The strength of the builders of burdens is decayed
Where the might of the man in a portrait is portrayed
Making our prayer and setting our watch
To feel the energy south of all that we can know in ones crotch
Conspiring to fight against our Jerusalem
To hinder it by the strength of the builders
In their burdens we make due....
Embrace
12-3-13
Counted as rubbish is dung
While by my queen
Be in gladness I am stung
Being one to swallow it where I cough up a lung
Regarding the fireplace
Where our stockings are hung
Sitting in our higher places
Wanting to come down from our ivory tower
Where the Spirit is not only in word but in power
As such a composition doth seem insignificant
In the passing of another idle hour
Yet not barren in all that such is worth
Like a lady in travail
I constantly give birth
This is my weakness
That I doth embrace...
