Event
7-7-12
At exactly eleven in the morning
A police vehicle passes through our vacant parking lot
To see if everything is alright in our ghost town
Where echoes of my past flow past me
Like the waters that cool my flesh
Allowing the Spirit to do its work in the heat wave we weather
With little suspicion when what we do is justifiable.....
Pleasure Condoned
7-7-12
Hedonism after dark
With humanism within
To serve as my scintillating spark
With the nature of this pleasure condoned
Where on nothing at all they still say I am stoned
Sometimes carrying the meaning of being so judged by my own conscience
That serves as my sign of salvation
Where all things work together for what is good....
Herb Experience
7-7-12
Experiencing the herbs like flowers irredescent
Going down in my stomach that tonight I talk to
The good Lord willing
With a minimal amount of planning out
What is yet to precede in this heatwave
With experimentation
Of the teas of all that is celestial
To see the contrast between Spirit and soul
Where poetry today is my God's paying of such a toll....
Communion
7-7-12
Communion is the sharing of thoughts and emotions
Serving as the backbone of today's wonderful devotions
In that I have not need of anything at all
Save the love upon which I stand fast
To allow all resentment
To dissolve like salt in the high tides of merciful oceans
Marking the conclusion of the patriarchal age
As an analogy to represent fatherhood
In which we take our communion...
Reflection
7-7-12
In antediluvian excess of the joy I knew
In night seasons I was inundated in the joy of learning
In the word and wine all night long
As I look back upon such innocence
Where my cat would lie peacefully beside my pillow at dawn
As today I am blessed with shelter from inclement conditions
For which I am thankful for...
Message
7-7-12
Advocating spoteneity
Rejecting what is conventional
In that I believe that there is no right or wrong way
In which to meditate and pray
Advocating peace and love that will win all battles
Of that which we sometimes fail to understand the message
That in the congregation is bigger than the man whom speaks at the podium
To fill them in....
