Cluster
2-6-15
Two hours before the sun
I do all for God's glory
Even the percolation of another pot of Joe
He is still in my heart
These are better days and I'm off to another good start
As I am one to proclaim O, thou art
As they will sit, every man under his own vine
And under his own fig tree
To gather their clusters for their fermentation
And I pray that I will stay up
Now that I'm out of bed
As music pours into my meek head
Two hours before the sun
Yeah, you are still the One....

2-6-15
I was comparing myself to Moses daubed with pitch
In the river Nile
And I was chastised with a call from a brother
That sometimes doth but vex
So I put it all off this today
And writing is my sex
Come the chime of six
I pray for those that are in their wrecks
With Springsteen on my Sony
Where I take in the sacred text
And now that I'm up and up for the day
With my tyranasaurus rex
She is my favorite dinosaur
Whom can't compete with murder...

2-6-15
I dig hits collections
In that they are unpredictable
Sometimes it's sad when you know the next song
Before it even begins
As the blood of Jesus washes away all of my sins
Still tied to these vices in their more than generous prices
At my altar I make my sacrifices
And soon the sun comes up on my weariness
And I get my second and third wind
Remembering my junior collage experience where I hath sinned...
Daub Me
2-6-15
I begin again today my passion
And of Spirit I get my lavish ration
Where Scripture with its rock and roll is its fashion
I begin again
I take up tablet and pen
But not according to when
While all is Now I take a deep toke and count to ten
The boss looked like he was high due to exhaustion
This was his passion like mine today and I'm at it again
Hallelujiah, amen and Amen
O, daub me with asphalt and pitch.....
In Midian
2-6-15
Today I plow through Exodus
To learn about my man, Moses
By thorns, by roots in fertile soil
Are our royal one hour till sunup striking curious poses
The badlands start treating us good
Where love is the top of the entire law according to the brotherhood
It doesn't matter if you're black or blue
O, darling pen, I think you should
Who are you to be a judge over us
I am what I am today
I plow on through to see how far I can go
In this wilderness of promise....
North
2-6-15
Wind chills in the single digits
A prisoner of love and a freeman from the elements
I have much good to look back upon of magic moments
In my kitten love nostalgia
Adam raises Abel once again and this is my treasure
I take Zipporah to be my own
Drawing some tap water but not to stand alone
To inherit these sins all covered by the love I shine forth
As come Tuesday again I go north...
In Midian (Part 2)
2-6-15
The moon is beautiful in the west sky
If I have the time to stand and look and stop to think
I have much to look back to
Of that which the girl in pink at the roller rink
As today my goal is to blog and post as one to float
When I try to sink
There is something in the twilight where I stand upon the brink
Tending the flock of Jethro
I meet her there when I return
Stated in the present tense to make this dream real....
In Midian (Part 3)
2-6-15
Blessed not to live in Albany
The sun comes up and I am what I Am in East York
Today it's just me and Jesus and His amazing Grace
Come now therefore and Pharaoh will harden his heart
And no, I will not let your people go
Will be as a work of art
So that this power might be made known
Today I am not alone
Call him that we might eat bread...
