palsy

Palsy
10-29-13

Palsy doth represent our sin
Passed on to our progeny  of ones kin
Knowing not where I am going in just sitting still with pen in hand
By a scrupulous grip far from being as the norm
Refusing to live properly in my palsy
Synonymous to my iniquity by the reproach justified
In that the profound dines with the profane
With palsy as an illustration of my weakness serving as my strength....

Raising The Roof
10-29-13

We all have our roof
And we all have our wall
Giving it over to Jesus
In no need to be always on the ball
Paying no mind to the summer that fades into fall
Destined to set our clocks back one hour on Saturday night
To celebrate the early sun setting
By this illumination of the dark that I prefer
Above what I can see
Increasing our faith to raise the roof
And tear down the wall....

By The Law
10-29-13

I have not known lust
But by the law that says I shall not covet
Meaning that I will not want what my neighbor appears to be blessed with
Like in the looking glass
Where I forget what I look like
When I walk away again
Hoping to be delivered from all that is carnal
So I can walk in the newness of Spirit
And not in the oldness of the letter
In hopes to be one to claim
To be feeling better....

No Offence
10-29-13

It is impossible but that offense doth come
Using the English language as a tool to understand the Scriptures
In the beating of our own drum
In such a reflection of our Savior
We can see in ourselves today
Given another day in this prophesy
In that God's mercies are new every morning
Where it is impossible but that offence doth come
Where some claim they will not be offended
Seen as ones denial to what is
In that which is not...

Posture
10-29-13

As prayer affects our body in its postures
We hope to be the real thing and not just impostures
Wanting to be in deed and not only in word
To the rhythm of my consciousness
Wanting to love God with all my strength and mind
Not just in intellectual ascent
But in deed and in Being
Upon which my fortune will be spent
Requesting good success
In this evening's avacados
For the cause of the joy I choose...

On Psalm 68
10-29-13

Letting God arise
And his enemies to be scattered
Blessed in ordering up my fried fish beer battered
By the inclination of all disposition
In a place where this truth really mattered
With no agenda save which is written here
Of the love from above in the dove
That casts out all futile fear
Letting God arise where we must decrease
And he must increase
According to what I can remember
In what I have learned when I went there
By my faith of a mustard seed
Letting God arise...
