doers

Be Ye Doers
6-24-11

Yet to consider my meditation
With my objective to reclaim
The life from my mind
Back into my body inside
where all can transcend beyond form
Just to see about what I can do with it
Taking risks bold
Where the rest of it is yet untold
Where miracles are yet to unfold
Yet to travel to a place outside of time
Where it all begins...

Making The Best Of Being
6-26-11

I didn't care for counting calories
And O, my God
She is so beautiful
In a place where I choose to feel good
Before the good arrives
As a sailor upon stormy seas
Of being survivors
And I have all day today
For my poetry devotions
Making the best of Being
In magnified emotions
Upon story oceans
I don't care for counting calories or fat
For I am my own thin man
At my busy intersection
Of where I'm at...

What To Do With It
6-26-11

Praying that a brother gets what he needs
Given the power in my hand
To give today as my heart bleeds
And I seek to find out what to do with this new energy
And love of self and soul
And if I were richer I'd give it all away
And be paid in return sevenfold
Where I'd rather have the weather hot than cold
As this love will make me brave and bold
Given the entire day
To spend in these devotions...

More Studies
6-26-11

John Adams was the second president of the United States
I learn this diddy to find what the hippy loves
In all that he hates
Where a poet finds what he can do today
In what he destroys and creates
And the worst that can happen
Is that I'll be washed miles downstream
In another dark dream of stopping in for ice cream
With sensitive teeth
As I study the Eumenides
Know as the wing goddesses
Of tonight's loving affections....

Her Rivers
6-26-11

Worshiping beautiful secret places
Made well known in these pursuits
Overdoing it in Denver
Yet to let the river flow to the sea
With a cup of Joe
And doing here what I know
With nowhere today I need go
Yet to wade in the Assabeth
As if she were the Nile
Finding safer places to skim the tides of denial
Reclaiming acceptance as I renounce duality
So that tonight once more we can be as one...

On Hebrews 6:6
6-26-11

Yet to crucify to myself the Son afresh
With fields to yet cultivate and thresh
Gathering wheat in gardens in my high seat
Bowing down to kiss her beautiful feet
Slowing down the pace just a tad
To make room for tadpoles
That want to morph into bullfrogs
That infest the river banks
Where I prosper in that I give thanks
Where I will be hot for the less attractive
Of members less comely
In the filling again of tanks
To put in my extra miles
On turnpikes travelling west....
