Switching over to Genesis on my Sony
Collins was a good drummer
Far from being called a phony
Bringing back my days of rebellion
Stubborn and stony
Now I feel like a leaf thrown in the stream
As again tonight I'll have that retail work dream
I say a prayer for all churches
That the Spirit will flow through in all places
In that I still remember exact conversations and names and faces
Forgetfulness is not the amnesia
As such hate will only lead to cancer
Not a way to live
O, may us all forgive
Man does not live on bread alone
The sign of ones salvation is love
Where the hawk will get along with the dove
Evangelism is a journey and an adventure worth taking
Let it go
It's in the past
As later on tonight I break my fast....










Love Is Not Dead

Ready to plummet into complacency any hour now
Need the strength to go out and get milk
Given the wherewithal and the know how
As I dwell in dreams of cotton and silk
A freaky fetish I picked up along the Way
I have tasted that the milk of the word is gracious
I hear a voice say, "You did enough already today
So go there and see"
An adventure motivated by compassion
Not to rule with a rod of iron
After judgment and its fashion
We need to let our light shine
To prove that Love is not dead
Where the devil whispers you are wasting your life
See the opportunity in the difficulty
I'm ready to plummet
God is accessible in every place
And in every posture
Stay seated if you like
God's love endureth forever

All Are Called

Twenty-five thousand free bibles
Are given out by the free gift of eternal life
In what it's all about
I hope you get yours
To evangelize can become addictive
On a good note
Hey, what ever floats your boat
The first word is Go where you will
See the work out of service is the word No
All are called to such
So that deep roots can grow
Come the ninth hour of the day
This place seems like a ghost town
All things become new
When given us is a ministry of reconciliation
As we are ambassadors in this dispensation of grace
I cannot think of a better place
Giving way to the dispensation of judgment
I want to refrain
As poison flows through my every vein
Be courageous
Bring glad tidings
And soon we'll get our needed latter rain...








Go, Know, Show

Everyone can say something about it
Even those whom still yet but doubt it
For Go, the directive
By Know, the declaration
For Show, the demonstration
The dog sees the leash and wants to go for a walk
Some still say no
Many feel yet unworthy to talk
And so you say I ought to write something of my own
In a world of rejection where I feel as if I stand alone
Peter goes to Caesarea yet to meet Cornelius
It was all part of the master plan
Five hours till I get my medicine
Doubting nothing, making no distinction
I am one to judge those that judge
This is still mere judgment
And all are guilty of it
Everyone can say something...










Leash For Walk

For territory you've never been to before
I am satisfied to wake at the hour of four
A puppy finds out what a walk is
And is eager to submit when we get out the leash
With Jesus going out on an adventure
To see what's going on down the road
Highway twenty-four today is a fender bender
Why not go for a walk
Afraid of rejection and of humiliation
Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks
I fell in love one day when I pulled up a chair
This has already in God been arranged
For me to go there and see
Study to show yourself approved
Go there and see and you will be moved....
