High Of Thirty
2-6-15
Nothing can pluck me out of God's hand
Even if I fall apart today
To hide my Egyptian killed in the desert sand
I am what I am
In that I do my part
Up since four thirty
I get a little bit dirty
Only getting up to thirty degrees
According to the weather chart
But who is worthy to prognosticate
This is what I do by the day's first light
In which there is nothing to hate
Nothing will pluck me out of his hand today...
In The Bush
2-6-15
Leprous like snow
Anemic
I've got nowhere I need go
I take up my pen like it were a rod
And God is love is all that I need to know
I have this here desire to do signs and wonders
O, ask for something impossible
Think outside the box
And enjoy this morning your strong Joe
In Jesus name I can do this
In that I still have room to grow
I was once slow of speech
But now am bold
O, who made man's mouth
Yes, it never gets old...
I Dream Anew
2-6-15
Starting out the day with Classic Yes
As so my office and my love seat is a beautiful mess
Please let me go to sacrifice and to bless
Three day's journey into the wilderness
Satan gets mad when I am glad
And I see to it that I smile
When love comes to you
And life is not so bad
On the eve of deliverance
I take my rest and dream anew....
My Valentine's Hope
2-6-15
Spring will strike again
Like a rattlesnake against the lamb
Of this long cold winter
I am what I am today by his grace
And She leaps up again sometime soon
Looking at me as if I were a madman
Dream on poets and be slaves to charity
Many will believe because of these words in all verity
Bound for my forgiver
Like a hound to swim in the river
The sun is finally up
And I am on my way to here and Now....
Abate
2-6-15
Today's going to be another prolific one
Yeah, it already has
By my morning glory
There is a shift in conversation
Defines as lifestyle
Where battleships confide
In those that take up the pen
That's just where you are
And I'm at it again
Come the chime of eight
Sunshine is as nothing to hate
To bow ones head and worship
It's only crazy when we misunderstand it
Where coastal winds are yet to abate....
