Again I am loaded
No money spent on smoke
A billion dollars at stake
For my malice God's love will never fail
Love will see us through it
It grows on me like mildew
We have waited for him and he will save us

The feet of the poor
And the steps of the needy
I want to smell it, yeah I want more
But it's no way to live to be but greedy
The surface of the covering cast over us
Another coffee spill on this page
In the shade of the dark and deep
And cold lakes in my fauteuil
My upholstered armchair
So comes the darkness and the frost
On October mornings

And no more of such futility

In a consuming fire
