rock salt

Rock Salt
1-6-14

In that day so assembled are those that halt
As so the city will not need run out of rock salt
Making streets once again clear
Where the new beginning is near
According to the end where joy doth lie just around the bend
To gather her whom is driven out
To be one to grasp what this is all about
By this poem written poorly yet base
In that such is devout
As in that day so assembled
Are those that begin again...

Clubfoot
1-6-14

By taliped and talipes
Figuratively I get back down on my knees
Hoarding nuts and Swiss cheese
Discovering again tonight my birds and bees
As in that day so assembled are those that halt
Being one to be abased
In that yesterday's laurels doth yet exalt
By talipes and taliped
The Spirit of the Comforter will raise the dead
Making she that is halted a remnant
Where all vagrants will be well fed
Casting off our strong nation
By the music in my head...

Sybarite
1-6-14

By the wealth and luxury of Sybaris
I greet my brethren with a holy kiss
Dreaming of south Italy
Like a drama I won't need to miss
Of to another rusty new beginning
sitting next to a cat that would never hiss
By the abundance of affluence of the Sybarite
All I know how to do today is write
In high hopes to make my way straight into tonight....

Odd Fish
1-6-14

Simpletons and odd fishes
Come today make seven wishes
expecting miracles in the form of side dishes
By which the average Joe takes up pick spade and hoe
To find out how it is sweet to know
By my upshot, conclusion and result
Where the abased so the good Lord doth exalt
O, tower of the flock
Be to the earth as the salt...

Northward
1-6-14

From me the Word so is sounded forth
Where all ambition like an eagle spreads her wings to fly north
Making the most of morning moments
Getting ready to weather the approaching storm
By the negativity of negotiations of the norm
Grace to you and peace from the Father
By my dreams of my return to the collage dorm
So, O from me the Word so is voiced
By all grace and glory
By which the poet hath rejoiced....
