As Children
1-5-14
Many believers are said to be unfledged
But at least they are justified
As little children of the faith
That desire the milk to wash down solid food
That belongeth to those with their senses exercised to but discern
Where Christ is formed in those that first believe
By a faith in what one cannot see
With a hope as an anchor for souls that yet follow
Even if such is a matter quite hard to swallow....
Idle Today
1-5-14
Jerusalem above is free
Which is the mother of us all
Contrary to our Hagar
Cast out to represent the bondage
We yet desire to remain in
In being a maidservant according to the flesh
And Sarah according to the promise
This will be the symbolism of our two covenants
Quite beautiful in that in such
There is much for the bible scholar to learn
For it is written rejoice, O barren
And break forth and shout
Jerusalem above is free
Even by a shadow cast in doubt...
Just Me
1-5-14
Standing fast in the liberty
Yet still subject to bondage today
Quit, barren and idle
Learning of these polarities
That turn out to mean to us the same thing
To but consider moving onto chapter five
By which Christ has set me free
Standing fast in the liberty
Giving thanks that at least I can see
As so in Isaac lies the promise
Wherein I am not to try to be anything but just Me...
Scripture Study Remix
1-5-14
Where faith makes us wait
There is nothing more for us to try to create
To learn how to love and forget how to hate
To look out for the fortune that serves as our fate
Falling again from grace
Where we try too hard to keep it
In that you hath ran well
In holding this wild card
Double and triple
Dipping into the jar of salsa
Where faith makes us wait
For what we cannot see
By way of ones eyes
With this hope
To serve as the anchor of our soul.....
On Galatians 5:14
1-5-14
The law is fulfilled in one word
Even in this that ye should love your neighbor as yourself
Yet the world will try to tell us that we need to love ourselves first
Content today in smoke and brew
To later yet hunger and thirst
To know ones vice in virtue
And to on the milk be nursed
O, why do I still suffer the persecution
Of my own voice
Where the law is fulfilled in one word
Where I languish upon my pallet to pray without ceasing
Until I get on back to sleep...
