Back To C3

Going Back to C3
12-19-14

I'm ready to go
I hope that the sermon applies
I give my thanks in any way I might know
To shine light upon the darkness
And uncover all of such lies
Always remember the lesson of giving
O, set the controls
As we float on through
In hopes to start living
Take not our thunder from us
But take away all of such conceit
I'm ready to go
To celebrate the solstice again
And back in the boat
I'm ready to go...

Our Common Coffee Ground
12-19-14

Currently I locate the book she gave me to read
To get a call from a brother
Telling him to call back later
To yet appease my angry alligator
As such a positivity hater
One needs the blues to keep one grounded
As so a higher way so has been founded
She says I dare you to read on
In early afternoon
That feels like hours before the dawn
Have not him without a cause
And spend your food money till it's all gone
Read on...

Another Petition
12-19-14

Asking my God to replace this rage with all love
Asking Jesus for the strength to turn the page
To seek all that lieth above
To read another prophet of disasters and miracles
And to get in touch with the dove
No point in asking who's to blame
Remembering the series about Nehemiah
And the building of his wall
It seems to not have applied
To my tales short and my fables slender and tall
I haven't seen my brother in weeks
By skew lines converging
And suspicions of sounds in the hall
Asking my savior for the high time of peace at night fall...

Up Before Three
12-20-14

Up before three in just being me
The difference between my epic and my epoch
Is just a matter of time
Back in the community room
In a dream of writing this rhyme
Still in the dark to write about it
But being glad to be alive is no crime
Jamming out to pop grunge and its grind
Up at three
There is much to see
I wait for my medicine
And hope to keep it down
This time around...

Proven
12-20-14

And so it's clinically proven
But for what
Yet to snack on another salty Brazilian nut
Packing the sodium and its protein
Like in the corner of the ring with my uppercut
Come the first step to recovery
By no if and or but
Wondering about my cat's rambunctious behavior
Early as I'm idle in my art
God orders my steps yet to beat these obstacles
Doing a hundred more reps
And so it's clinically proven
To do its thing..
