Threshed
2-15-15
Rising up at Mount Perazim
Rising up two hours before the daylight
Angry as in the valley of Gibeon
To scatter the cumin planting wheat in rows
Jesus knows
And a young Christian grows
Why was I born to love you
No more coffee today
Soon I take my rest and pray about it
I pray that they accomplish what that have come for
When he has leveled its surface
Does he not sow the black cumin
Rising up...
Spelt
2-15-15
Of wheat, of spelt
The heat is so felt
They are only here to lend a hand
As snow will eventually melt
Extreme cold temperatures
This is only temporal
For we are halfway through the winter
I try to pay no mind to it
Of spelt, of wheat
Good is still our electric heat
Not with a threshing sledge
I sit patiently on the edge
They're only here to help us
Who is wonderful in control
And excellent in guidance...
Pause And Wonder
2-15-15
Woe and weal to Ariel where David dwelt
Of wheat, of spelt
Eventually the snow does melt
I hold my left hand out and I tremble
No more coffee today
In rhymes yet to assemble
Year to year let feasts be made
Foes will be like fine dust
To whisper out from like a whole new voice
From my throat I choose to embrace
Like chaff that passes away
And look he drinks in his dreams
But is sober in real life
I see here right before me
O, pause and wonder...
Read This Please
2-15-15
God pours out on me a spirit of deep sleep
So that I might rest and heal
But I pray that I won't go too deep
In the way that I feel
The bible is so beautiful
In that God is real
And my Sony would be happy
To be put back into her service
Behind the lips that no thing could seal
But he awakens and indeed he is passionate to face the day
And I close my eyes to again to wake refreshed
Read this please, yes I can
For it is not sealed
God pours out his Spirit
Upon those that suffer it....
I Would Stagger
2-15-15
Who sees us
O, who knows us
O, who grows us
I would stagger with intoxicating drink
And popping pills just to get on through
I activate my prayer capsule for my safety
It all comes with the territory of sobriety and salvation
O, praise and wonder
By the chime of One
I rejoice as my soul still craves
Seeing out of darkness and obscurity
As poets and as slaves
They're only here to lend a hand
I pray that this purpose is served
Till Lebanon is turned to a fruitful field...
