Modern day hippies are made known
On other paths we choose to salute
In that all we need is the love
That all can have access to
No matter where you are
These are the peacemakers that never give in
Rising up every time they get the wind knocked out of them
In their smoke as such will be to me a beautiful yoke
Believing that this love doth heal
In that it's so much more than what I feel....








Hedge

I can be as the hedge
In that I pray for those I see on the evening news
And this hedge is the Christ that every day I much choose
Willing to fail sometimes and accepting the games I might lose
Only to perfect my perseverance
In not giving up the fight
All day long that seems to my flesh as a thousand years
Time well spent with my flowers in my garden
Of songs sweet to dull ears
Sharpened by the bliss it has to offer
As the hedge in trust on days
I don't take much to eat and drink...










Faith Defined
6-5-12


Faith is defined as a measure of confidence
And of what God wishes to do
To make a change in the you that is as me
Of the consciousness of consolation
In the healing and release
Of the emotion that meets up with my reason
To produce this faith
That is counted as what is wise
As all day long with my sunshine
I keep my eyes on this prize
Believing to already have it all in my hands...
