we rock

We Rock
5-11-15

Needing to be aware of evil to eschew it
Need to know of this wickedness
And not to pursue it
Each agree for a penny a day
Even those that stand idle
Getting right down to it
Many are called but few are chosen to do it
The vineyard is our playing field
Revealing supernatural principles
All things will be new in the year of my forty-two
We are as heirs with Jesus
As the night will come so I can get some rest
A penny for a day was a fair wage
As I rejoice by the turning of the page
As stewards God says that we rock...

Enlistment
5-11-15

He is out early to call us
Wanting us to live life more abundantly
And not to appall us
Where I have rights to these suspicions
And all that is yet to befall us
Going out at five in the morning to watch the sunrise
Getting more involved with distant brothers
Paul spends three Sabbath days proclaiming
And many were saved in the book of Thessalonians
By such I am no longer enslaved
I'm so happy
Now going out soon for yogurt and TV dinners
Knowing that heaven is made for only us sinners
For the enlightenment we are yet to work in his vineyard
And glean the grapes of glory...

Keep On Digging
5-11-15

Our main job is to get out in the vineyard
For its clusters of sweet grapes
To find on the ground our polyhedrons in all sizes and shapes
Sometimes we have dry spells but it is worth it to keep on digging
Just three feet down we might find gold
Those who work more are paid the same
They say it's fizzled out in renouncing all fear and doubt
As our pendulum swings
O, why stand ye idle
You are good for all of these things
Instead of a rich robe a girding of sackcloth
He that exalts himself is humbled
An ode for Uzziah
Defined as the might of Jehovah
For the tabernacle, our canopy
For shade in the daytime from the blustering heat...

Canopy
5-11-15

A cloud of smoke by day
And the shining of the flaming fire by night
He is the truth, the light and the Way
And we don't need to do it in our own might
I didn't catch the weather report
Sometimes we are better off not knowing
Above her assemblies such a presence, a countenance yet glowing
Their horses' hooves will seem like flint
And their wheels like a whirlwind straight from the text another helpful hint
Thank you God for I have sinned
Now let me sing to my well-beloved
Like the roaring of the sea
All for you and me....

Seraphim
5-11-15

It's getting better every day
She wrote me a note that reads you can have the life of your dreams
I can feel these chemicals at work by the train of his robe that fills the temple
Looking for a good time when I return
This is the manner of prayer to write out all blessings longhand
I'm living in cleaner air today because I smoke outside
Reading Isaiah's vision in the year that king Uzziah died
Weal is me for I am restored as whole
Holy, holy, holy is the Lord of hosts
And the whole earth is full of his glory
And my house is no longer filled with smoke
It's getting better every day...
