F.Y.I.
8-7-15
Restless Friday august morning
I could not go back to sleep
It was a shock to see you but love will overcome
Am I making to you any sense
What am I do but to have said that I missed you
so also is the free gift
Shut up and enjoy your coffee
So says the devil by ink of black and blue
Streaming to the goodness of the Lord
For wheat and new wine and oil
Pull up a seat
Nothing to sign nor to foil
I rejoice, first miracle
The curiosity of my Amazing Grace
Restless Friday August morning
For the young of the flock and the herd
Of grace by one man abounded unto many...
Shoal
8-7-15
What happens when I want another can
I sleep tonight O, my brother
The black car parked at the side of the street without a name
Soon it will be autumn
The trees are stripped bare
Do I even care
Another shoal is where I made my goal
I've been a bad boy
For Christmas I deserve coal
By this sandy elevation
As a hazard to navigation
Open arms to the Lamb of God
To come together and to throng
All I want to do is write my song
Is Ephraim my dear son
O, tonight can we be as One...
Commend
8-7-15
As not as it was by one that sinned
A season comes to a bittersweet closing
But life goes on out here on the east end of town
So is the gift according to the judgment
I put in my shift and pray for brothers that do likewise
As by one to condemn and another to commend
Offering unto justification
For felonious favorites
I seek a little bit more rest
Not a crime in the books
Death reigned by one
And I knock back the rest of my cup of Foldiers
And boast in not want of eggs or toast
Voice tells me to be myself
To turn off Bono and put on some Dead
Refusing to be comforted for her children
Because they are no more....
Carnival Parade
8-7-15
The song that I played was the carnival parade
Where I don't want popcorn with all of such music yet to be made
Come another age of Aquarius
By consternation in the equatorial region
Of our Southern hemisphere
With beautiful music to play all day today
In our rabble and tumultuous crowd
The lowest and the coarsest class of people
But not to judge
Need to unwind and begin my day
And just enjoy the fudge
My rabble roused
And Demagogue claims
As a pet his oversized bullfrog
Coming and going
Every day for the populace
And the general public
Running out of money and I need more pay....
