I countersign the lease of life
Wherein I enjoy my stay
In such a tabernacle of vessels of honor
To regard more highly by the way that I walk
Where I can rejoice even in that which is contrary
In the flow of rivers of resilience both here and there
No longer afraid to be one to care
As such an agreement is made among two or more
In a matter in the earth we know
Where flowers alongside weeds will yet grow...





On Hebrews 14:13 (look at this)

I have no continual city
But I will seek one yet to come
In the repetition of the utterance
Of a word as simple as One
To reinforce the tranquility at hand
Knowing that there is always a contingency and a back-up plan
In case I need to take a different way home
On a route in a dream of returning to the excursions
Of a time when I knew not fear of narrow passageways
Nor steepness of inclines sure and nimble as I go....






To Seek Instruction

Judgment rightly falls on those whom seek instruction
Towards a better way to go about the business of recovery
Asking our counsellors what can we do better
Of such a three letter word
Serving as a key to gild the lilies
In fields of richer shades of green
As on this evening I bask in the shelter from elements outside these walls
And hedges of fortification....
