too sweet

Too Sweet
6-23-15

He touches the hills and they smoke
I have my coffee this week till I go broke
We then that are strong
Ought to bear the infirmities of the weak
This morning my coffee is too sweet
Where blessed are the meek
Ready to delve deep today
To the point where I cannot even break
Never underestimate the loving dissolving
Our solvent crown to corrosion
Feel this love in the morning
I'll be there
Coffee too sweet
I am here...

Anjou Revisited
6-23-15

Seek the Lord and his strength
Seek his face evermore
Determine the width, the depth and the length
Bite the Anjou pear down to her core
Peaches and nectarines are back in season
Far from being a man of means
Where Jesus is the reason
Let everyone of us please his neighbor
For his good to edification
There's a reason for our being
O, hast thou faith!
Have it to thyself before God and come through
For even Christ pleased not himself
For the reproaches of them that reproached
Thee fell on me....

Redolent
6-23-15

Suggestive, aromatic, redolent, reminiscent
It was as if my hairbrush did glow
When I fix my hair for my day
One mile north of here
Baronias stately and grand
I write on even with a weak hand
Talk today of all his wondrous works!
Glory in his holy name
Bask in the Word and make it your own game
Come the turret and its tower-shaped projection
By the edifice in our acceptance of correction
To frolic, to gambol and playfully lead
Last night I get my ten hours sleep...
