engender

Engendering Again
2-11-18

As to enlighten others
As to love sisters and brothers
As to heighten esteem of fathers and mothers
Where only sin breaks fellowship
And I meet the swan and the goose
For associations loose
Getting in on their juice
Inheriting the desire
Setting my own soul on fire
Why me Lord but why not me
The most important thing is that you get something out of it
It's all you to get into it
As I engender and produce
Giving rise to love anew.....

Give Rise
2-11-18

In all manners of lasciviousness
Now behold it comes to pass
To earn threescore and cut the grass
Left with many words yet to tell
Concerning us as discovering is our seventh qualification
Unwavering faith not knowing the other six
At the University of Connecticut
I get my language fix for seedwatering prayers
Pull up a few more chairs
Timidity, one of the greatest obstacles
Able to cross that river by faith and trust
That things will work out
As to relate and give rise to ourselves....

Hubbell Medal
2-11-18

Taking that test to see if our gifts are instead out covering the money
I put in and count the wisdom I take out until I sleep in our Thoreau society
Of lessons to be learned and a candle at both ends burned
Greeting Leslie receiving the Hubbell medal
For a lifetime's contribution of all we have in our hands
Where our spirits rise again yet to see our questionaire as less honored
Partaking in the rest to taste it
God knows all needs and wants
In wagon and in chariot
Well done Judas Iscariot....
