pride and joy

Of Pride And Joy
2-7-18

Endure to the end and be ye atoned
Given a free day
I work on my projects in recollection
Of my wood shop teacher deaf from working around machines
To him that is given much much is required
For the girdle of his loins and collection of stamps
And coins nostalgic for established literary merit
As to take hyssop and scarlet and sprinkle ourselves
Before the tabernacle just once we can almost see it
One step closer give her to Eleazar
Abiding in Kadesh knowing Christ afresh
Miriam lives on somewhere in fields to thresh....

From Lust To Love
2-7-18

So much to love out there
As to be yet atoned time and time again
Feeling close to those I've never known up to now
And much more to yet consume as to afford freedom of monument
As to clarify the obvious
It was so simple then in the innocence of unchanging gifts
Time to time again
Down here there is barley and memories of Charlie
Seeming as quite desirable
I can never get enough of a God
That wants us to want more of Him each day
Where visions seem impossible....

Like Pie
2-7-18

It struck me hard at first
And then at last I understood it
O, ink contrived be thou my sword
For beautiful minds and faces
What will be found
We did, O by and large take charge
In that which I inquired of change and to rearrange
Getting inky in the underlining of key passages
Where I'd rather be here and now
Than somewhere off in a ditch for bed graffiti
And the road is paved ahead
For ziti I haven't the foggiest
In one that welcomes involvement
A street to cross like cherry pie....

We Chode
2-7-18

For this condition of suspicion indeed to clarify
My desire for mushrooms and blessings next week
With the breadth of his lips
Shall he raise up new countries of prophets
O, where do we go from here where realization is possible and probable
Who is the dreamer now at the bus stop is where it all began
For much later in regeneration a thing yet to see that we always wanted
As we all were young still striving for the second benefit
Who is the dreamer now?
Where so we chode......
