engraven

Engraven
2-8-18

Keeping me from my self centered reflections
Of the year of '02
I still love you all for words of preaching
And to answer simply be yea or nay
Right here in my soul and plates engraven
I need something for the street choir at Cush
Green and lush and no such laquer or blush
Babylon is fallen and the world has gone to pot
Move it on up plowing into Jacob
Brother of Nephi don't let me down
Figuratively speaking
Anoint the shield for chariots and caravans of camels....

What Of The Night
2-8-18

A lion, O my Lord up Mount Zion
Stepping to adjust the chord and a pair of horsemen
God bless those going up and down the stairway
In the valley of vision and the tally of another indecision
Hope is my substance today
O, how I pray how shall we escape
"It's Thursday I already know"
To but quote a hero read at margins about happy people
On the dark end of your street given the command to engrave it
But not enslave it and my heart wanders still
And we cry "Alas, a lion!"
Watchmen what of the night?
But naked and barefoot surefooted....

Bulrush
2-8-18

On the Watchtower of the daytime
And the Ensign of the night O very fair
On the balcony arise you princes
It is the easiest to say we will do better
When spring comes in the land of Tema
O, inhabitants on every mad drawn as directions
For not only ourselves but for those by the way
Weal to Assyria by our number of archers
In travelling companions and caravans for troubadors
Prepare this table as Tartan comes to Ashdod
And all we must do is ask God
To be our iron rod....

Still Expatiating
2-8-18

Today my only agenda is to enjoy myself and you
Prepared to spend my time as one of few
Go and remove the sackcloth and keep the secret
Holding her tightly to your chest
To eat the wheat and burn the chaff
To take up rod and staff and nothing more
In Dedanites in presence rendering of sweet mystery
What ails you now?
I had to ask to simplify my next task
Kir uncovered the shield
And I plan to have a productive one
In array at the deck be it love and no more hate
To fortify the wall....
