Admirable Figures
1-29-18
Turn that dial on the full moon
At the turn of the winter month
So be it, the jubilee run of '82
I was there and almost innocent told to walk it back
O, would we need stand still as the whole world will perish
Give O, so much more to cherish
Sending messages to my new printer for leaves that tremble at dawn
And a fine mist upon the field of fate and fortune and crisping pins
Of carnal sins and admirable figures of perfume boxed
And all charms....
Get Thee Up, Bald Head
1-29-18
For tight wads of lukewarm cash
I pull it off again
Wondering is it really healthy
To look back on those times of being the athlete
Chasing myself with a moonchild proud of myself
In a photograph of me and my gift in letters here to new and old friends
And confirmation in '85
I was there but I never really understood the mystery of faith
Instead of long hair and mustasche baldness and clean cut washing it away
In our cleanness of teeth
Let me sing to my well-beloved
All encompassing.....
Slick Spot
1-29-18
In the concluding two days of the month of January
I find it afresh
But what is it to begin with
As the honorable are famished for eider down
That draws around me bringing forth wild grapes to but press
Where we eat the seeds and all in the Lord's vineyard
No harm in sleeping one more hour
To pray for good success and good sense for my fivepence
As an Homer seed doth yield an ephah....
