Uchtdorf

Uchtdorf
1-26-18

Knitting blackness for the second interlude
All for the humanitarian
Thomas looks like a happy guy
Of which I can see myself in a situation of lose and win
Every moment present counts as to be a light and beacon
Yet inquiring of the way as to be their illumination
Soon time to face the real music
Today I'm chancing it for His love
See the silence of the ribbons of iron and steel
Smoke while you're here and prepare for battle
With oxen and cattle....

Assisi
1-26-18

Studying for all seminary classes
Applying Windex to my no line bifocal glasses
And there is hope that we won't need grope
Off soon on another adventure turning tables
Give her time for the market
Dark and clear our sunny sky
For the sun in your eyes
Witnesses of God at all times
O, be full of grace
And be a blessing of the daughters of Zion
Looking at you for Francis of Assisi
In folk stories soon time to get what I want and need
In the teaching from the message as to maintain composure
Where I can be a light to others....

Reactivated
1-26-18

Staying diligent
Remaining vigilant
Aware of the sun coming up
As years seem to slowly pass
Yet in looking back it all seems fleeting
This weekend good eating and kind voices
Resonant come relief society
And the waiting for each other
Learning basic ballads and a chance to talk things over
For our history if His beautiful mystery in entertainment and media
Watch me closely today, my God
Yet to be reactivated in our quorum
As to recapture the vision....

Getting Real
1-26-18

See for example an essay entitled Getting Real
As we ask each other how does it make you feel
For the strength of youth nobody in sight
Seeking my own articles of faith
As to reflect together God willing
Where it depends on the weather
For all Elizabethan predecessors and implausibilities
Praying for the February Conference and  Longrell fire
I think she's here remembering where I came from
And applying the message
You pray and I watch
Getting real....
